Biography

The most consistent force for the best defense in the state has been defensive end Torin Brazell of Bradford County. Brazell made 2nd team Duval Sports Prime Time Player in 2022, and turned around and increased already impressive numbers from his junior season to make First Team Duval Sports Prime Time Player in 2023. Brazell finished with 62 tackles, and 17 sacks (team lead). Brazell also led the team with 31 tackles for loss.

His presence was infectious to a unit that seemed to have no weaknesses. Everyone around him raised their game due to his consistency and expectations. The result saw several other defenders make big names in a year that saw Bradford make it all the way to the state championship game.
