One of very few quarterbacks that can come straight from middle school and start at the high school level, and that’s exactly what Tramell Jones Jr did. He stepped right in as a freshman in 2021, and lit up the area in passing. In 2022, he got even better, passing for 2,310 yards, and 23 touchdowns as a sophomore. His junior year, Jones led the state in passing with 3,195 yds and 33 touchdowns. Mandarin advanced all the way to the state championship game on his arm as state runners-up.
He has a very quick release and incredible acceleration on his throws. Florida State is going to love this incredible athlete, who still has another year left of high school. He currently has 12 D-1 offers, and is a Duval Sports 2022-2023 First Team Prime Time Player.
